Milton-1, St. Paul’s-10

Milton-12,Nobles-17

Team Record: 0-6

The softball team has continued to improve throughout this week. It managed to hold St. Paul’s to only ten runs, and would have had a chance to narrow the gap, if it weren’t for the fact that the pesky pitcher threw like a major-league player on steroids, only underhand. Needless to say, Milton made very few connections, and it was a painful day for batting averages. Nobles, however, was surprised on Saturday as Milton engaged them in an unexpected battle. It was the ‘Stangs’ closet contest yet; Milton was finally able to both hit and field on the same day. Emily “The ARA” Quesad”ill”a (II) was once again responsible for fielding numerous outs, and redeemed her solid hitting reputation after the vicious beating it took on Wednesday. The team is getting closer to a win every time they play, and they’ve gotta come out on top at some point during the remaining three weeks of the season. -E.H.
