Introducing TMPodcast
TMPodcast, produced by The Milton Paper, offers perspectives from Milton Academy’s faculty and students. Each episode, we chat with one speaker about their unique opinions and stories, bringing their perspectives on regular campus life and learning from their interests, experiences, and specialties. The podcast is available on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and Amazon Music; the QR code below scans to the Apple Podcasts link, but TMPodcast is searchable elsewhere!
For the very first episode of TMPodcast, Joanna Zhang ’27 and Kleshie Manyo-Plange ’28 had the pleasure of chatting with Mr. Phil Robson from the Math Department about his recently published book, Math Is for Everyone, and the ideas behind it. We discussed the stigma surrounding math, the pressure to see ourselves as either a “math person” or someone who is simply “not good at math,” and how those labels shape the way we approach the subject.
Forthcoming episodes of TMPodcast will draw on student experiences, continue to interview teachers with fascinating stories to share, and perhaps even call on some of you; stay tuned!
